What a nice surprise! In 2009 I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal to do a story about the Oceanarium, one of the largest aquariums in Europe. Lisbon blew me away; nice people, great seafood, a beautiful old town, and the famous Tram 28 that winds through the narrow streets of old Lisboa. I also recommend you check out a Fado show at one of the local bars. Fado is a form of music characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, often about the sea or the life of the poor.  As one Portuguese man told me, “it is the blues music of Europe.” Music Sample: Mariza (Fado)Â
